Adat-haShoafim — a Great Time in Chug Bishul!

These chanichim (campers) in adat-haShoafim are enjoying their fun and delicious chug (elective), Bishul (cooking).  Under the direction of chug leader Mandi Firoved, they have prepared a variety of delicious items.  They have gained skills in kitchen safety, reading recipes, measuring ingredients, cooking techniques and clean-up.  And to top it all off, they had fun and had some tasty treats!

Mandi (photo, below) works as an Occupational Therapist during the year, and specializes in patients with burn trauma and lymphedema at a VA hospital.   It’s her first time on tzevet (staff) Bishul, but in prior years, she served on tzevet tennis.
