Boker Tzrif and Yom Foam!

Friday was one of the most fun, special days of the summer!  The morning was our Boker Tzrif (bunk morning) — all of our tzrifim (bunks) signed up for a series of special activities that they would do as a tzrif.  Some tzrifim went swimming or boating or played on our water toys.  Some played sports, some created art projects, some made candy sushi, some did zumba, some sang and played music, and lots lots more!  Each tzrif got to participate in three special peulot (activities) during Boker Tzrif.

Then, at the end of lunch on Tzad Aleph (A-Side), our hanhallah (senior staff) led the hanichim (campers) in a rendition of God bless America in honor of the day after July 4th.  “God Bless America, Land that I love. Stand beside her, and guide her, thru the night with a light from above.  From the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans, white with FOAM…”  When we all yelled “FOAM!” it was revealed that Yom Foam had arrived!

It was an amazing day at camp, followed by a wonderful and relaxing Shabbat.  We are excited to begin Week Three tomorrow morning!
