Shalom Parents,
Ilanot had a fantastic Shabbat together! We preformed a dance and ‘Shalom Aleichem’ in front of the whole camp on Friday night before services. We prayed together as a camp in the grove, and then enjoyed Friday night dinner. On Shabbat we were able to pray, relax, swim, play and get ready for the rest of the week. We also did a program about havdalah, which is our project for the session. We learned about the different parts of the prayer, heard a story and played a few games to better understand the havdalah service. Once it got dark, we did havdalah with the rest of A-side on the upper migrash (field). We are really looking forward to all of the fun activities that will be happening this week, especially Six Flags and meeting our Nivonim CIT’s. Keep checking back for more updates from Ilanot!
