Ilanot dress up “under the sea” and perform

Ilanot’s instructions after aruchat erev were to grab things from the tzrif that “had to do with the agam (lake).” Each tzrif (bunk), collection in hand, met on the migrashi tennis (tennis courts) on Tzad Aleph and brainstormed a dramatic 30 second production, related to the agam.  Each chanich (camper) donned an under the sea themed costume and when it was their turn, acted out a scene (often silly).

A number of themes emerged from the skits: the chaninchim are very familiar and comfortable with the safety procedures on the agam, particularly buddy check and that sunscreen and bug spray are important components of daily living at Machane Ramah.

The silly costumes enhanced the silly skits and everyone had a very fun (and funny) evening.
