Introducing some of our Kayitz 2011 Mishlachat

At Camp Ramah we believe that a deep connection to the State of Israel, the land, and the people is part of our Conservative Jewish heritage.  The vast majority of our Shlichim are young adults who have just completed their army service.  They live in bunks with our campers and serve as counselors or specialists in our daily program.  By forging personal relationships with the campers, the Shlichim begin to connect the campers to Israel.  Our Israeli staff members also run age-appropriate programs about Israeli culture, history and the current political situation, and help to bring Ivrit (Hebrew) alive throughout camp.

Meet some of this years amazingly talented staff!
