Kochavim gets off to a SUPER start of mini-session dalet!

Chanichim (students) in kochavim have had a great first two days of mini session dalet! Yesterday, they had a great time getting to know each other and their entire tzevet (staff). They played a game of jeopardy, made up superpowers and learned our edah (division) song! We also introduced our session theme of superheroes!!

Today, chanichim (campers) enjoyed their first yom ragil (regular day) of the session! They went to their chuggim (electives), such as boating, basketball, ropes, and mosaic making, swam in the agam (lake) and had fun at all their other peulot (activities). During our peulat edah (edah-wide activity), chanichim (campers) continued their training to become superheroes. They each created a cape or other costume, played ninja to practice stealth and agility and raced in a “one breath race” to build strength in the legs and the lungs. In a “one breath race,” each superhero takes a deep breath, runs while screaming as loud as possible, and stops when their breath runs out and their scream stops. Our superheroes had a blast and can’t wait to continue with their training and receive a mission!
