Ramah Alternative Break Trip to Israel

Hi everyone,
I am currently on my way to New York city, where along with 20+ other former Ramah staff members from across the country, including our own Sarah Coleman and Deborah Sherman, I will soon be departing for Israel on Ramah's Alternative Break trip. The trip which is cosponsored with JNF will allow us to spend a week traveling and volunteering throughout Israel. As one of the trip's senior educators I will be helping participants to think critically about their experience and how they can help bring "Israel" back to their Ramah camps this summer.
I hope to keep everyone updated throughout the trip. After departing at 11:30pm tonight, when we land in Israel we will be headed straight to the Negev, where we will begin our experience in Yerucham, a small development town in the south.
