Waterfront

The camp wraps around Round Pond, a lake which has two sandy beach waterfronts, one for the younger campers and one for the older campers, along with a small fleet of canoes, kayaks, sailboats, and windsurfers. Our waterfront staff members are certified by the American Red Cross as lifeguards and water safety instructors. Campers have daily instructional swim and additional time for free swim.

Facilities
In addition, interested campers are able to participate in a variety of boating activities on our lake. Campers learn to use our various boats — canoes, kayaks, sail-boats — as well as go wind-surfing. New campers learn basic canoeing and sailing techniques, while campers with more knowledge and experience are able to work with our boating staff to learn more advanced skills.

Facilities

Certified waterfront instructors teach swimming and boating skills in the camp's spring-fed lake. At each end of the quarter mile long lake are two sandy beaches, one for younger campers and one for older ones, along with a small fleet of canoes, kayaks, sailboats, and windsurfers.

Facilities
Ramah also boasts a beautiful lake where many water sport activities including swimming, canoeing and sailing are held, all led and supervised by a team of specialist swimming instructors and lifeguard staff.
