Adat Ha-Ilanot Tefilah (prayer)
This morning was a special morning to visit Adat Ha-Ilanot Tefillah (prayer) as they were joined by Adat Ha-Nivonim for a special Yom Gesher (bridge day) program where our Nivonimers are with different tzrifim (bunks) for the entire day as CIT’s.
The energy in moadon Ha-Ilanot was amazing and the singing was beautiful, the Tefilah Emet was being sung as I entered the Adat Ha-Ilanot Tefilah service~ see below for the words of the Tefila as well as to hear the song!
“ Emet (x4)
Emet ata hu rishon
Ata hu acharon
Ein lanu melech
Ein lanu go’el
TRUTH, YOU ARE FIRST, YOU ARE LAST, AND WITHOUT YOU, THERE IS NO NOBILITY, NO REDEMPTION, NO SALVATION.
The theme of our summer at Machaneh Ramah is “Emet-Truth.” We have been learning about Emet and will continue to explore what does Emet mean? How should it be part of our daily lives? How is it a part of our religion? How is it part of the history of the world and the future?
