This summer Amitzim has been blessed with an amazing Yahadut or Jewish learning program. Each day yahdaut teachers prepare a lesson on our theme of tefilot and understanding the meaning of prayers that we say at camp. Each lesson is based on one prayer. We do art projects, learn a song or read a story relating to that prayer. At the end of each lesson the campers create a page of a siddur or prayer book that they will be able to take home at the end of the summer. The siddurim are growing and the creativity is flowing! Check out these great pictures of a few Amitzimers working on their tefilot projects:  DSC02114 Here is a camper showing off one of the pages in his siddur:DSC02121 Here is another page of the siddur:  DSC02117

We are looking forward to the rest of the summer when we will learn more prayers, continue expanding our siddur and continue enjoying learning together!
