Amitzim around camp!
Amitzim had another great day! We woke up for t’filot, had breakfast and and enjoyed a morning filled with swimming and learning with our yahadut (Jewish studies) teachers. This afternoon we had chug (electives), shira/ rikud (singing and dancing) and hung out with our Bogrim buddies. These are a few photos from the singing and dancing period of the day!
Everyone is in good spirits and is really loving connecting with old camp friends and meeting new ones. Last night we enjoyed a BBQ dinner and then came back for an indoor “camp fire” due to the rain. We sang some Hebrew songs and found out that this summer we will be performing the “Lion King” as our play. We will be working with Machon (rising 10th graders) for the next 8 weeks in preparation for the big night.
We are looking forward to our first Shabbat at camp and will be post Shabbat pictures early next week! Shabbat Shalom from Palmer!
