For the past few summers each edah has a special take home project that they work on throughout the course of the camp season that they will be able to bring home with them and use throughout the year. The edah learns about the concepts behind the project and really takes it on as their unique project. This summer as part of the Take Home Project, Amitzim is making havdallah sets. Yesterday Amitzim started the project by learning about how we know when Shabbat ends- by searching for 3 stars in the sky. Each member of Amitzim was given a wooden plate and star shaped stamps to paint the trays which will be the base for the entire set. Check out these great projects:  DSC02128Another camper very proud of his beautiful havdallah tray:DSC02132
