Boker Tzrif in Solelim!

This morning is boker tzrif (a morning of bunk activities), and Solelim tzrifim (bunks) are having a blast! In addition to each one making a tzrif (bunk) plaque that will be hung in the tzrif (bunk) for years to come, each tzrif (bunk) is participating in activities of their choosing. Tzrif 1 is enjoying free swim and the jungle joe, tzrif 3 is baking with the voc ed bakery and boating across the agam (lake), tzrif 5 is making shrink dinks and play doh creations, tzrif 17 is playing ultimate Frisbee and doing space painting, and tzrif 19 is also baking with the voc ed bakery and playing an exciting game of water polo.

Boker tzrif is a wonderful opportunity for our chanichim (campers) to bond together, as they usually do not have chugim with all of their friends from their tzrif (bunk). It is also a great chance for the madrichim (counselors) to have fun with the chanichim (campers), and to really solidify their relationships with each and every chanich (camper).

This afternoon, after aruchat tzohorayim (lunch), Solelimers will have agam (swimming in the lake) and then a couple hours to prepare for Shabbat. We are looking forward to a beautiful Shabbat, exploring the greater themes of love and kindness in our Jewish tradition. Shabbat Shalom from Solelim!!
