This summer, we are continuing to run the popular Cafe Ramah (begun last year) as a central component of our ivrit (Hebrew language) program.  Cafe Ramah is an immersive Hebrew language program — it’s a working cafe, in which campers can play the role of customers, waiters, or the chefs in the kitchen.  Campers have fun and enjoy yummy food while learning lots of Hebrew!

In addition, this year we have opened Shuk Ramah!  We have set up a shuk in our Beit Midrash complex.  Campers can play the roles of the vendors trying to sell their wares or the tourists/customers looking for a fun new item to purchase.  This program will run parallel with Cafe Ramah, and will also be an immersive Hebrew experience designed to teach the kids real-world milim (words) and bituyim (phrases) that they can hopefully make use of in the future!
