This past Friday, Solelimers had a fun-filled day beginning with Boker Tzrif. They spent their entire morning going to activities like cooking, boating, water polo, candy sushi, meditation, reverse tie-dye, fleece pillow making, jungle joe, shrinky dinks, water trampoline, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee with their whole tzrif (bunk) and all of their madrichim (counselors). It was a morning not to be forgotten.

Tzrif 3 dancing on the mirpeset!

After aruchat tzohorayim (lunch), they returned to tzad aleph to find the lower migrash (field) filled with FOAM!! They quickly changed into bathing suits and played around in the foam with the rest of tzad aleph.

Tzrif (bunk) 33 had one more surprise coming for them- after Boker Tzrif and Yom Foam, they went on a field trip to Rondeau’s to get a pre-Shabbat ice-cream treat! All of the other tzrifim (bunks) have either already been to Rondeau’s, or will be heading there this week. It is definitely a highlight for our chanichim (campers)!

To conclude this exhilarating day, we brought in Shabbat with a lively niggun and a review of our week, as well as an introduction to our Shabbat theme of leadership. We were very thankful to have a day to reflect, relax, and regroup for the final week of first session!
