Chug (elective) Memory Boxes: Adat Ha-Ilanot

As Machzor Rishon (first session) comes to a close, Adat Ha-Ilanot was busy this morning decorating their memory boxes in Omanut (art). The Chanichim (campers) filled the inside of their boxes with the contact information of their bunk friends as well as placing some special items that they made in camp inside the boxes. The outside of the boxes were colorfully decorated with colorful sharpies. The Chug leader Ari Cooper who works on Tzevet (staff) Omanut is currently an incoming sophomore at Savannah College of Art and Design, majoring in illustration. Ari not only has special expertise in art, but she also understands how important camp memories are as she was a camper at CRNE for four years as is back as a second year member of the Tzevet.
