Havdalah Havurah and Hanukkah Programs in NYC and Albany, NY
This past weekend as part of our Havdalah Havurah program the Blas Family was delighted to host 25 New York, New Jersey and Connecticut area members of the Ramah New England community for Havdalah on Saturday December 8th, which just happened to be the first night of Chanukah. Members of Amitzim and Voc Ed, Niv 12, and even Kochavim and Ilanot joined for Havdalah, candle lighting (all 3 blessings!), songs, latkes and Chanukah cookies. Campers and parents of all ages were having so much fun on the floor spinning dreydels that it was hard to get them to the to the other room for a surprise—a sneak preview of 20 minutes of….the VIDEO YEARBOOK! Families also gathered in Albany, NY where a similar Havdalah and Hanukkah program was hosted by the Siegfeld family. See pictures below
