Ilanot Yom 7 Wonders of the World!

On Tuesday, we had a Yom Meyuchad, a special day, where Ilanot did programming related to the 7 Wonders of the World. After Body Prayer Tefilot that incorporated the spirituality of the East into our Jewish Shacharit Service (Great Wall of China) we competed in a Ramah Trivia game to climb to the top of the Empire State Building. We played a game of Gladiator Disco Disco (a version of dodge ball with trivia and freeze-dance elements) in the Great Colosseum of Rome, and then games of drip drip drop and other water challenges morphed into a water fight (Niagara Falls). In the afternoon we enjoyed the natural beauty of a thunder storm from the safety of our tzrifim, and also colored in designs similar to those that decorate the Taj Mahal. We created several mummies for the Pyramids. At the end of the day, we played Jeopardy with categories that included the Wonders and also about Wonder-ful people in camp. Everyone had an amazing time!
