Jewish Education Opportunities for College Grads

Ready
to take your interest in Jewish education to the next level?

Here
is some basic information about the Pardes Educators Program:

The
Pardes Educators Program (PEP) is a two-year program in
Jerusalem, combining intensive Beit Midrash study with a Master of
Jewish Education (from Hebrew College in Boston).  PEP prepares men
and women to be Judaic studies teachers in North American day schools.

Pardes
is a non-denominational institution where students from different backgrounds
study Jewish texts in an open environment. PEP is currently in its tenth
year, and we have graduates teaching throughout the United States and Canada,
in a wide variety of community and denominational day schools, elementary
through high school.

The
Pardes Educators Program is highly subsidized, including Pardes tuition
and a generous living stipend of $1,200 per month. Tuition for the Masters
degree at Hebrew College is significantly reduced.  PEP is funded
by the AVI CHAI Foundation. PEP students commit to three years of teaching
in a day school, following the two years of study in Israel.
