Kayitz 2018 begins!!

It is a gloriously beautiful day here in Palmer, MA!  There were clear blue skies and lots and lots of happy, smiling faces this morning, as we opened the gates to our Machzor Rishon hanichim (first session campers)!  Kayitz 2018 has begun!

After a warm welcome to everyone, we jumped right into the fun with peulot tzrif (bunk activities) run by our madrichim (counselors), to start building their groups and help everyone to get to know one another!  On Tzad Aleph (A-Side), we also ran an exciting tzrif (bunk) competition on the migrash (field), with lots of different fun and crazy challenges for the kids to try!

We then gathered for our first aruchah (meal) together as a machaneh (camp), in our Chadar Ochel (Dining Hall)… and then the kids began their tzohorayim tzrif, a special afternoon filled with bunk activities!
