Kochavim Celebrates Rosh Chodesh Elul

On our first full day of camp, we welcomed the new month of Elul in style! We had a special visitor to our morning t’filot (prayers), who helped us announce the countdown to the High Holidays with shofar blasts. Several kids had the opportunity to blow the shofar, and we were very impressed with the sound that came out! Our tzevet (staff) members were no where near as successful at blowing the shofar as the chanichim (campers)!
