Kochavim Celebrates Rosh Chodesh (New Month)

On Wednesday and Thursday, we celebrated Rosh Chodesh! On Wednesday, Kochavim prayed as an edah. Since many of us don’t know Hallel, we learned how to sing “B’tzeit Yisrael” and “Hodu La’shem Ki Tov.” Today, we joined Tzad Aleph (A-side) and Amitzim for a special Rosh Chodesh Tefillot. We got to show off what we learned to Sally from tzevet shira (singing staff) and the rest of the chanichim because she sang our favorite tunes! We can’t wait to sing more tomorrow on Shira B’shishi (singing on Friday) during our tefillot. Come back tomorrow to see some pictures!
