Kochavim Intersession

On Sunday, we unfortunately had to say goodbye to our mini session gimel chanichim. We had an amazing mini session and were sad to see most of our chanichim leave. However, we look forward to seeing them next kayitz!!

After our mini session gimel chanichim left, our chanichim staying for mini session dalet participated in Yom Kochavim Konquers! We made decorated crowns and had a coronation ceremony in which our chanichim were given royal names. For lunch, we made pizza and decorated a cookie cake. The day was a lot of fun!

Today, we had tefilot in the tzad aleph amphitheater with a beautiful view of the agam (lake). After aruchat boker (breakfast), we left camp to go blueberry picking. Our chanichim had a blast picking blueberries today. We picked over 15 pounds of blueberries!! When we got back, we used some of the blueberries to make delicious blueberry muffins and shared them with people all over camp. After blueberry picking, we played mini golf and ate ice cream. It was a long, but extremely fun day! All of our chanichim loved the field trips!

We are now getting ready to welcome our new chanichim for mini session dalet, which starts tomorrow. We are very excited to meet the new chanichim and are looking forward to another amazing mini session.
