Kochavim Tefilla: Hodesh Tov!
Adat ha-Kochavim had a wonderful tefilla to mark the new month of Elul. Rabbi Andrew Pepperstone delivered the d’var Torah.
Sara Binney from programming Tzevet (staff) led the chanichim (campers) in a Rosh Chodesh game. As she called out different Hebrew and English words related to Rosh Chodesh, the chanichim raced back and forth, shaped their bodies into symbols, and used their voices to create the sound of the shofar.
