Machon on Yom Sport

This past Tuesday was Yom Sport (Color War), where the entire camp was broken up into four colors (red, white, blue, green) and competed in a variety of challenges and sports. While the day was Nevonim’s to run, Machon still plays a crucial role. The Nevonimers look to Machon for special assistance in leading the other edot, as a way to prepare them for next year’s Yom Sport. Often you could find the chanichim (campers) of Machon leading team songs and chants as well as being up and center for the closing ceremony dances and songs. This edah is certainly proving it has what it takes to be next year’s leaders of Machaneh Ramah B’New England.
