Camp Ramah in New England is thrilled to announce the return of KISHRONIYAH for all SECOND-SESSION 2010 Tzad Bet (B-Side) campers!  Kishroniyah comes from the Hebrew word Kishron, or “expert.”  We have invited specialists in a wide variety of fields to join us at camp to run intensive multi-day programs for our SECOND-SESSION Tzad Bet campers.

ShawnHart Shawn Hart is returning for his second year running our Flag Football Kishroniyah group!  Shawn is an avid sailor, cyclist and freelance writer from Philadelphia who coaches girls’ softball in a pioneering program that celebrates its 21st anniversary this year.  His philosophy—and the program’s intention—is to imbue young athletes with confidence in themselves and the respect for others that comes from teamwork, and to encourage them to share these qualities on and off the field.  Cooperation, more than competition, has always been the measure of success.  Shawn lives in Mt. Airy with his wife Kari; they have two daughters in their early 20s.  Despite what the girls tell their friends, their father is NOT old enough to have invented football, nor did he commission Betsy Ross to make the first flags for the game.
