Meet Rosh Machon 2010: Ezra Balser!

Shalom, Machaneh Ramah! My name is Ezra Balser, and I am very excited to be Rosh Machon for kayitz 2010! I have a B.A in religious studies from York University. I took my freshman year abroad and studied at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem. I am currently a Hebrew and Jewish Studies teacher at Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School in Chicago. I have a wide range of hobbies: I currently coach the boys basketball team and the girls fast-pitch softball team at the Day School. I was also a member of Kol Neshama a capella choir at York. I was a camper and staff member at Ramah in Wisconsin and I am looking forward to working at Ramah New England in kayitz 2010!
