The Nachshon Project’s Rabbi Josh Cohen Visits
Rabbi Joshua B. Cohen is a Program Officer of Legacy Heritage and in this role co-directs The Nachshon Project. He visited our machane (camp) yesterday, and met with several groups of madrichim (counselors) who are prospective Nachshon Fellows. There was a lot of interest in this Project, especially as we have 2 Fellows currently serving on our Tzevet — Simon Luxemburg and Ianne Sherry (photo above, left to right: Simon, Rabbi Cohen, Ianne). This excellent leadership program demonstrates how our chanichim (campers) and tzevet (staff) encounter numerous paths to leadership development while at our machane, and ultimately succeed in serving the Jewish people at our machane and beyond.
