Nivonim 2015 Starting Off Strong

Nivonim 2015, the culminating summer of years of camper experiences, has officially begun. We started off our kayitz (summer) with the first Nivonim town hall meeting, engaging in the all-important topic of the official spelling of our edah’s name , as well as hearing some of our upcoming Nivonim opportunities.

The final moments of the first night of camp featured the Nivonim Clipboard Ceremony, taking place just after our first town hall meeting. Each Nivonimer received their official clipboard that they will use throughout the summer for their planning, and eventually as a full madrich (counselor) in the years ahead. It was a beautiful ceremony, with each camper coming forward while being cheered on by the rest of the edah.
