Parenting Rocks: Nivonim

The chanichim (campers) of adat-haNivonim had a fun and instructive peulah (activity) this past week, called Parenting Rocks.  They decorated their own special baby rock, and carried them around with their spouses as they developed parenting strategies.  They had fun imagining their baby’s personality and caring for them.  The parenting styles included very strict, anything goes, flower children, attachment parenting, love trumps everything, anti-vax(!not in real life!), soccer parents, extreme achievers, etc.  Most of the chanichim were totally responsible about this role, and had fun carrying it out! Some great life lessons!
