Putting the Campfire Back Into Camp!

At Camp Ramah our
campers love to sing!  We believe the arts provide young people with
powerful entry points into Judaism.  In addition, some of the most
powerful memories at camp involve music.  This summer we have assembled an
incredibly talented Tzevet Shira (Music Staff) who will take our music program
to new heights.

One of the exciting new opportunities our campers have to learn new songs
and create lasting memories at Ramah is around their edah's (unit) medurah
(campfire).  We now have eight medurot (campfire sites) throughout
camp.  Led by our Tzevet Shira, which includes Cantor Gaston
Bogomolni, Sally Heckelman and Gavri Yares, campers sing traditional Ramah
melodies and classic American folk tunes.  Along with singing and
storytelling, campers enjoy a fun snack.  Each week the camp is aglow with the sparks of campfires and the sound of song!
