Ramah New England Representatives at the National Ramah Weinstein Conference!

Right now, in Camp Ramah in California, representatives from all of the Ramah camps are gathered for the Weinstein conference.  Approximately fifty 18-year-old second-year counselors have assembled for an intense week of special training.  In addition to those madrichim (counselors), Weinstein also serves as a gathering point for groups of Ramah Service Corps interns, special needs directors and staff members, Daber (a special initiative to enhance Hebrew education) fellows, and rashei edah (division heads). There are even two enthusiastic observers/participants from URJ camps — assistant camp directors, there to learn about our staff training model and bring it back to their movement.
