Rich Traiger, Dining Room Manager, Reports on the End of Tisha B’Av!

After a hard day of fasting for Tisha Ba’av, the break the fast meal served by the kitchen staff was ravenously received with much enthusiasm and appreciation.  350 campers and staff enjoyed a 9 0’clock meal of cheddar and broccoli quiche, potato pierogies with onions, waffles with strawberries and maple syrup, as well as home fries.  Last but certainly not least was the ever popular pizza bagels.  Also available during the meal for those who wanted something lighter, was a salad bar and a cold cereal bar.  Many left the Chadar Ochel (Dining Hall) with a smile and a satisfying patting of their bellies!
