Rikud (dance) and Shira (song): Magshimim prepare for Magshimim Shabbat!

Magshimim chanichim (campers) prepared well for their upcoming Maghimim Shabbat, with a special song and dance, among other preparations.  The dance was set to “Lo Nafsik Lirkod” (listen, below), and was an originally choreographed dance by our Rosh Rikud (head of Dance), Sarah Rodin.  The chanichim clicked so well with the music, and the moves fit the music so naturally, that their rehearsal this past Wednesday was near perfect — and the smiles were natural and unsolicited!

The song, “Im Eshkachekh” (words, below) was taught and accompanied by Nadav Berman Shifman (pictured below) of our Tzevet Limud (education staff) on guitar.

Immediately following the rehearsal, the chanichim had tefilla.  Pictured below is Josh Edelglass assisting several chanichim with their tefillin.
