Kochavim Sandcastles and Edah Appreciation

During our Peulat Edah (edah activity) yesterday, we got a chance to make some awesome creations! Kids worked in small groups to build stars (“Kochavim” translates to “stars”), animals and more out of sand. At the end of the competition, teams were rewarded for creativity, teamwork, and originality.

This morning, we learned about appreciation, and we each went around writing down nice things about one another. It was really fun to read what was written about us, and the sheets of paper will serve as a reminder of all the new friends we’ve made once when we’re at home.
