Shabbat Machon & Miriam’s Dance!

We had a wonderful first Shabbat of camp!  It was Shabbat Machon, so edat ha-Machon created a wonderful Shabbat experience for the entire machaneh (camp).  At the start of Friday night t’fillot, the entire Machon edah wowed the camp with a terrific shir (song) and rikud (dance).  Then, two Machoners, Yoni and Veronica, led the entire camp in Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma’ariv services.  They did a spectacular job.

Before t’fillot, the Nivonim girls performed the Miriam’s Dance — a long-standing tradition here at Camp Ramah in New England!
