Shavua Tov!

Shavua Tov, Parents!
I hope you had a wonderful Shabbat at home. Our weekend was great.
Friday kicked off with Boker Tzrif, which consists of activities by bunk. Each bunk chose which activities they would participate in, and the morning was a huge success. I joined Bunk 8 playing kickball with Amitzim, camp's program for campers with special needs. Many of the boys said it was the highlight of their week. I had the pleasure of cooking cake and baked ziti with Bunk 25, and we had a wonderful time cooking (and eating, too!). Bunk 23 had a great game of touch football led by Rabbi Ethan Linden, though I'm not sure how many touchdowns were actually scored :)  Both Bunks 21/22 and 6/7 had a basketball game led by Davey Rosen (the incoming Asst. Director of camp), and had a great time. Additionally, each of the bunks had the opportunity to make a bunk plaque in Omanut (arts and crafts). Overall, the day was a tremendous hit and everyone had a great time.

Shabbat was also another wonderful Shabbat in camp. We finally had the opportunity to daven (pray) with the entire camp outside in the Grove, and tefillot were beautiful.

Everyone is looking forward to the last week of camp. We are finishing up the parsha project that we started at the beginning of the summer, and everyone is savoring every last moment. It's very bittersweet for me, as I'm excited for a new session to begin, yet also so sad to see so many campers leave that I enjoy spending time!

With warm regards from Shoafim,

Sarit
