Solelympics Champions!

Tonight, Solelim capped off an incredible first full day of camp with an evening of intense bunk competition. Called the “Solelympics,” campers went head to head in events such as the three-legged shuffle, the speed-walking three person relay, and the tennis ball toss. The games culminated in a very intense spelling bee. While every bunk competed admirably, bunk 17 managed to emerge victorious, closely trailed by the others.

Solelim managed to display not only good sportsmanship and good-natured competitiveness, but also genuine joy and pride in one another. The cheering never stopped, and campers ran to hug and congratulate each other after each event, no matter the outcome. We see this as a great sign for a wonderful month!
