Tennis Kishroniyah

The intensive Tennis Kishroniyah developed skills amongst the chanichim (campers) from Magshimim, Bogrim, Machon and Nivonim who participated.  This is Rose Weinstein’s 11th summer here at Palmer Kishroniyah, which she greatly enjoys.

 

Rose Weinstein is a former elite tennis player who has over 25 years of teaching experience. Rose is currently the Head Tennis Coach at Penn Charter High School in Philadelphia, where she has coached many players who have gone on to play college tennis. She was the US college coach for the Maccabi games in Sydney, Australia, as well as the Pan-Am games in Buenos Aires. Rose has been coaching Maccabi teams from Philadelphia, PA for the past 21 years. In 1999 she was inducted into the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame. Rose is an active member of the USTA Middle States Association, and in 2006 received their prestigious Mangan award for her achievement and service. Rose has taught numerous tennis clinics for athletes of all ages and skill levels.
