It’s Time To Say Good Shabbos!

It’s the eighth week of the machaneh (camp) which means that this was the last time this kayitz (summer) that our chanichim walked through the Shabbat Gates. It was very special to watch the joy and excitement on their faces as they made their way through the gates and towards the chadar ochel (dining hall) for aruchat boker (breakfast). Not only is Friday morning special because Shabbat is coming, but this year in Machaneh Ramah new permanent Shabbat gates were created which marks a new era in Palmer camp history. We look forward to walking through these new gates for many years to come! Shabbat Shalom!
