Yom Israel in Ilanot!

Yesterday, Ilanot celebrated our love for Israel! The  entire edah dressed in blue and white to show solidarity. The day began with Israel-themed tefillot, using tunes of traditional Israeli songs. At Aruchat Boker (Breakfast), each table was decorated with blue and white. In the morning, we took part in Boker Tzrif, in which each tzrif (bunk) participates in activities together, such as cooking, pillow polo, and making bunk plaques.

During bechirot (free choice), chanichim (campers) had the opportunity to make pita over a bonfire. It was delicious! For Peulat Erev (Evening Activity), we participated in a series of activities to learn about teamwork, discipline, cooperation, and bravery. The chanichim (campers) and madrichim (counselors) enjoyed a day full of fun!
