Solelimers were very excited about the breakout of Yom Sport after one scene of the staff play.
We changed into our colors and had team meetings and a scavenger hunt in the afternoon. Then after dinner we came together as a camp for opening ceremonies. The theme was cereals, and the goal was for one team to gain the “Golden Spoon.”
On Tuesday, we had tefilot for Rosh Hodesh by team, and then we played sports, practiced for the team dances, and learned the team songs all day. We had etiquette lunch and silent dinner. It was great fun!
At the end of the day we came back together for closing ceremonies. Each team performed their songs and dances, and the judges conferred. Solelimers had the best ruach (spirit) and energy in all of the performances of every color. I was very proud of all of them.
Finally, we found out that Kachol (blue) won the day! YAY!
