Pinterest: look how beautiful nails and string can be

Omanut teacher Ariella Brody helps Tzad Bet chanichim (campers) design works of art one nail at a time. In her pinterest chug, chanichim first sand the wooden board and then paint it with a color of their choice. Next, they choose a pre-printed design or sketch a design themselves. They tape the drawing onto the board and use a push pin to make holes in the board that follow the design pattern.  They remove the picture and hammer nails into the holes created by the pushpins.  Finally, they pick out different color string and crisscross the string around the nails to make their design come to life in 3-D  and technicolor.
