Incentive Grants & Discounts
Camp Ramah New England is proud to participate in the Foundation for Jewish Camp’s “One Happy Camper” program, which offers an incentive grant to eligible first-time campers up to $1000 off of tuition. Visit www.onehappycamper.org to register for this incentive grant. The PJ Library program is also offering a limited number of $1000 incentive grants for first-time campers. These grants will be awarded by lottery. Click here for more information, specifically the “how to apply” section.
For any new second session 2025 camper (with a minimum enrollment of 4 weeks) at our overnight camp: if you apply but do not receive that “One Happy Camper” grant, you will receive a $500 discount from us!
Additionally, any 2024 Ramah Day Camp camper (in either Boston or DC) attending our overnight camp for the first time in 2025 and who is coming for our second session will receive an additional $500 tuition discount.
Financial Aid From Local Synagogues
Many Conservative movement synagogues in our region offer support to families attending Jewish summer camps, and Camp Ramah in specific. We encourage all families to contact their rabbi to see what, if any, additional aid is available! We also suggest you consult with your local Jewish Federation.
Financial Aid
In partnership with local communities, we are committed that no child will be denied the Ramah experience due to financial need.
Financial Aid applications are available in November through FACTS Management, Grants and Aid Assessment Service here.
Financial Aid Applications are due by January 16th of each year. If you are applying after that date, please contact us and we can help. At that point, the scholarship committee meets to begin to disburse the available funds and will continue to do so until funds are spent. We do reserve some funding for new campers who apply after the deadline. If you are a returning family who applies after the deadline, please submit your application as soon as possible and we will do our best to meet your needs as funding permits. Please feel free to contact our office for more information.
Each year, Ramah New England provides around $950,000 in financial aid to 375 overnight and day campers at our Palmer, MA, and our two day camps. Ramah also ensures that 100 campers with disabilities can depend on the firm support of our Tikvah Program. Each year, we ask our parents to join others in our community to make philanthropic contributions to ensure that Ramah New England is available to everyone. We look forward to being in touch with our families in the fall to ask for your support to ensure that Ramah can continue to provide all campers an exceptional Jewish experience.
Flexible Payment Terms
We are happy to work with each family individually to make an arrangement for payment that works for you.
Please contact our Finance Associate, Ken Milgram, if you would like to discuss:
- Arranging a reduced deposit if you plan on applying for financial aid. (We can arrange a deposit as low as $250, instead of the standard $1000.)
- Arranging a payment plan.
We accept multiple types of payment for your convenience:
1) Utilize eChecks. This is our preferred payment option because the savings in fees for the camp is significant compared to credit card transactions. In order to set up the eCheck payment option, please log into your CampMinder account and click on the “Financial Management” link. Under eCheck accounts, please click on the “Add an eCheck Account” link. Please enter your “Bank Routing Number” followed by your “Account Number.” Please make sure to enter your address and click “Save.” You can log into your account at any time to make an eCheck payment without a processing fee. If the “Financial Management” link does not appear in your account, the office is still processing your camper’s application. Our Finance Associate, Ken Milgram, can then manually enter your eCheck information in the office and process payments for you.
2) Mail a check to our business office (Ramah New England, 1206 Boston Providence Highway, Suite 201, Norwood, MA 02062).
3) Credit cards. MasterCard and VISA payments will be accepted. Contact the office to process credit card payments.
We thank you for your prompt attention to your tuition bill.
Full payment of all charges is due by March 1 of each year. (If you are applying after March 1, please contact us to arrange a schedule for payment.) Applications received after March 1st require a deposit of 50% of tuition.
If you intend to apply for financial assistance, the application is available after mid- November and is due back in January. To minimize your financial obligation closer to camp, we encourage you to contact us now to set up an ongoing payment plan that works for your family.
Please contact Ken Milgram if you need assistance with any financial questions.

Detailed guidelines for refunds are stated in the Family Handbook. Camp fees and voluntary donations are not refundable after June 1st under any circumstances.
