Virtual Events:

DC Day Camp Virtual Information Session – Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 8:00 p.m.
Prospective families are invited to join us for a virtual parlor meeting with Sharon Rosenberg Safra, Assistant Director.  From the comfort of your own home, you can learn about our amazing summer program, ask questions, and speak to veteran parents about their experience. Palmer Facebook Live – Tuesday, February 11th, 2020 at 7pm
Join Assistant Director, Josh Edelglass, and members of the year round team as we discuss our overnight camp program, approach to camper care, and Jewish education at Camp Ramah. Write in with your questions, and we will answer it LIVE.

Ramah Information Session in Needham, MA – January 26th, 2020 3:00pm – Home of the Ripin Family
Join Assistant Director, Josh Edelglass, for an information session on the Camp Ramah New England’s overnight camp program. Get your questions answered as you learn about our approach to caring for your children, Jewish education, skill-building at camp and more! Please RSVP to Pamela.

Events in the DC Area:

Family Fun Day – Sunday, February 9th, 2020 1:00-3:00pm – Alexandria, VA
Scramble: 5412 Eisenhower Ave, Alexandria, VA
Join friends old and new to build community and learn more about Ramah Day Camp and its program. Kosher snacks will be provided. You do not need to be a current camp family to attend. We do ask for $10/family to help us offset some of our costs. Cash or check (made out to Camp Ramah in New England) accepted. This event is being co-hosted by Brooke and Aaron Ringel and Agudas Achim Congregation. Please RSVP here.

Tour and Taste – Sunday, February 23, 2020, 1:30-3:00 p.m – Germantown, MD
Join us on Sunday afternoon, February 23 for guided tours of camp and a couple favorite camp activities. Tours will begin just after 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The event is free but RSVP’s are appreciated – please respond here.  If you have any questions, please email Sharon Rosenberg Safra, Day Camp Assistant Director. This event takes place at our camp site, Wellspring Conference Center, 11411 Neelsville Church Road, Germantown, MD.

Congregation Agudat Achim Ramah Shabbat – January 24th-25th – Schenectady, NY
Ramah will be at Agudat Achim to lead Ramah style services, meet new families, and reunite with summer friends. Join us Saturday morning for fun, games, and learning, and meet Ramah representatives who can answer all your questions about camp.

B’yachad Hebrew School Visit – January 26th – Albany, NY
Ramah will be visiting B’yachad Hebrew School on Sunday morning to speak with kids of all ages, run some camp style programming, and of course, distribute swag!

Temple Beth El Religious School Visit – January 26th 11:00am – Portland, ME
Ramah will be visiting Temple Beth El to hold a Camp Coffee Hour for parents and families, before joining the Hebrew School for a morning of camp style programming.

Temple Emanu-El Shabbat is Awesome – February 1st All day! – Providence, RI
A daylong event filled with Shabbat friendly programming for the whole family! Join us for Ramah style services in the morning, an afternoon scavenger hunt, discussions, and games!

Ohavi Zedek Religious School Visit – February 16th – Burlington, VT
Ramah will be visiting Ohavi Zedek’s Hebrew school for a fun and engaging visit! Come to hear all about Ramah programs and for some great swag!

Temple Aliyah Tu Bishvat Visit – February 10th – Needham, MA
Ramah will joining Temple Aliyah to led a Tu Bishvat Seder for children of all ages!

Temple Aliyah Purim Carnival – Sunday, March 1st – Needham, MA
Come visit the Ramah booth at the Temple Aliyah Purim carnival! We will have tickets towards prizes and plenty of information about Camp Ramah to go around!

Temple Emunah Purim Carnival – Sunday, March 8th – Needham, MA
Come visit the Ramah table at the Temple Emunah Purim carnival! We will have tickets towards prizes and plenty of information about Camp Ramah to go around!

Tzad Bet Reunion 2020 – March 20th-22nd – Palmer, MA
Tzad Bet Reunion is open to all chanichim (campers) who were on Tzad Bet (Magshimim – Nivonim, and Tikvah) in 2019. For the first time this year, campers who were in Shoafim 2019 are also invited to attend Reunion as their first Tzad Bet program! Reunion is consistently a highlight of our year-round programming, as chanichim come together in Palmer for an awesome camp Shabbat, full of friends, ruach, and fun. Ramah Family Camps:

Tikvah Family Shabbaton – Palmer, MA – May 1-3rd, 2020
Experience an accepting, supportive, fun-filled, Shabbat retreat designed for parents, siblings, and children with disabilities. This Shabbaton is open to any family of children with disabilities (no previous Ramah affiliation is required). The program will feature: A Ramah-style Shabbat; numerous camp activities (sports, singing, dancing, ga-ga, waterfront); innovative Jewish learning; and special family activities and programs, as well as separate programs for adults and children, with a high staff to participant ratio.
