Ilanot’s Foamtastic Friday!

As aruchat tzohorayim (lunch) came to a close, a hush fell over the crowd. A powerful wind rushed through the doors. The excitement in the air was palpable. It was time for YOM FOAM!!! The chanichim (campers) enthusiastically ran to tzad aleph (a-side) to change into their bathing suits. They grabbed their towels, goggles, and flip flops, and happily frolicked to the lower migrash (field). In front of their eyes, the grass was being filled with a bubbly substance. On the count of shalosh (three), they ran into the foam!! Laughter and smiles abounded. They made hats, beards, and outfits out of the foam, and played games with their friends and madrichim (counselors). Yom Foam is always a big hit, and today especially felt like a huge success. Thank you to the brave firemen who came to Ramah to fill our lives with foam. We appreciate you.
