IVRIT (Hebrew) FLASH

Yehuda Gubani is here at camp and Ivrit is all around! At each meal a chanich (camper) stands in front of  the entire  chadar ochel (dining hall) and shares the origin of their Hebrew name. It’s a great opportunity for all the chanichim at machaneh ramah to think about the roots of their Hebrew names and understand another aspect of how Hebrew plays a significant part in our personal histories. In addition all the staff members have an opportunity all summer to learn a new Hebrew word a day from the Ivrit Flash section of our Roosletter- here’s what we learned today!
