July 4th Fireworks & Fun!

July 4th is always an incredible day here at camp!

The kids’ ruach (spirit) is incredible — everyone dressed in red, white and blue and there were so many fun costumes on display.  At breakfast we had an invigorating playlist of classic Americana tunes, and at dinner Hazzan Jeremy Stein led the camp in an amazing song-session of English songs (the only time during the summer that we sing English songs in the Chadar Ochel)!

The night ended with an incredible fireworks show over the agam (lake).
