Kochavim continues to enjoy mini- session gimel!

In addition to the excitement of the Evelyn games, Kochavim has enjoyed many other exciting peulot (activities) over the last few days. We’ve played Indian chief and infinity tag (a form of tag where everyone gets to be “it”, consistently tries to tag everyone else, and alternates between being out and in throughout the game) for peulot erev (nighttime activities). Both tzrifim (bunks) have had spirited t’filot (prayers) with Amitzim, walked to Rondeau’s to get delicious ice cream, and dressed up their counselors in silly outfits for the entire day!
Chanichim (campers) have also had a string of exciting peulot edah (edah activities). On Monday, we wrote letters to Israeli soldiers, that will be sent out along with letters from the rest of tzad aleph (A side). On Tuesday, we played Heads Up or Tails Oreos, a play on charades using “heads or tails” Oreos (one side chocolate crackers, one side vanilla). Chanichim (campers) flipped the Oreo and were given different human or animal scenarios to act out depending on which side On Wednesday, chanichim (campers) participated in a Giant Clothes Relay. Each team of seven was given a full set of giant clothes, including pants, T-shirt and sneakers. Every chanich (camper) took a turn getting dressed in the giant clothes, with help from the rest of their group, and running back and forth as part of a relay race. Today, we had fun doing a lot of shira (singing) and rikud (dancing) around a medurah (campfire), before eating delicious s’mores!
