Machzor Sheini Begins!!

It was a gloriously beautiful day here in Palmer Massachusetts when, at 10 AM, we opened the gates and welcomed all of our second session hanichim (campers)!!  There were smiles everywhere as old friends embraced and new campers were welcomed into the Ramah community.  Kids and parents enjoyed our opening day carnival, with art-projects, pita-making, big bouncies, slushies, a BBQ lunch, face-painting, and lots more.

Once the last of our parents departed around 2:00, our counselors started running fun peulot tzrif (bunk activities), campers had a chance to meet in groups with Rabbi Gelb, tzrifim (bunks) started going down to the agam (lake) (and wow, today was a GREAT day for a swim!!), and so much more was happening all over camp.  It’s incredible to see the energy and enthusiasm in the faces of all of our hanichim (campers) all over camp.  Everyone is excited to be (back) at Ramah!!
